For the second time today, the UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw has taken place, and it presented us with some incredible knockout fixtures, with Real Madrid set to face Lionel Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain.
The initial draw for the tournament’s first knockout stage this season took place earlier on Monday, but after a “material error” was identified, a decision was made by UEFA to declare the draw void and redo it entirely.
With the latest draw now completed without any further issue, some mouthwatering ties have been set up for the next round, with Les Parisiens taking on Sergio Ramos’ former team Los Blancos while Bayern Munich will lock horns with Red Bull Salzburg.
