Tripura Civic Poll Results: BJP secures absolute majority in Agartala Municipal Corporation, leads in others
The BJP is set to sweep the civic body elections in Tripura. The saffron party established an absolute majority in the Agartala Municipal Corporation and secured the Khowai and Kumarghat Municipal Councils. The ruling BJP also secured the Sabroom and Amarpur Nagar Panchayats.
While the Trinamool Congress got only one seat, party leaders insist that the results ‘form the foundation of Trinamool’s victory in 2023’.
