(NEXSTAR) — A company based in Michigan is recalling more than 234,000 pounds of pork products over possible listeria contamination, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Sunday.
Alexander & Hornung, a unit of Perdue Premium Meat Co., Inc., voluntarily recalled approximately 234,391 pounds of fully cooked ham and pepperoni products after notifying the FSIS that product sampling showed positive Listeria monocytogenes results.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — The governors of Nevada and California say they have a plan to brings some immediate relief to traffic congestion on Interstate 15 at the border of the two states.
In a joint announcement Sunday with Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak, California Gov. Gavin Newsom says the shoulder about five miles south of the border will be made into a third lane during peak hours.
OCEANSIDE, Calif. — At least one person died early Monday in a crash on Interstate 5 in Oceanside.
The crash was reported shortly before 3:30 a.m. on southbound I-5 near the Las Pulgas Road exit, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.
