After the recent World Cup qualifiers, Lionel Messi’s Argentina and England have moved up in the latest FIFA World Rankings.

A number of European nations booked their ticket to the World Cup in Qatar next year in the past two weeks, including England, France and the Netherlands.

Gareth Southgate’s England have moved up one spot to fourth spot after securing big wins over San Marino and Albania recently.
However, European champions Italy have dropped two places into sixth spot after failing to win their last two qualifiers, which also meant the side missed out automatic qualification for the World Cup.
South American champions Argentina moved up to fifth spot, while the Netherlands are back in the top 10 after clinching a spot at the World Cup for the first time since 2014.
Belgium remain the number one ranked nation in the world while Brazil and defending World Cup winners France round out the top three.
